A lot of recent dolls have American Girl instead of Pleasant Company.
Do recent Kit's have Pleasant Company or American Girl on their necks? Just wondering. Thanks so much.

I just got a Kit doll at AGPNY and it had Pleasant Company with strings. If you call a store they can pick one out for you with the Pleasant company neck.

I just went in my room, locked the door & moved a ton of boxes to get to Kit (dd's Santa present [img]wink.gif[/img] ) just to see what's on her neck! [img]tongue.gif[/img] Mine has Pleasant Company & strings. Why would they be stamped differently or have ties instead of strings? I mean, I understand that the older dolls may be different than the newer ones, but are they mixed? Do they make new ones that are stamped either AG or PC? Or are they all supposed to be AG now? Can you tell I'm a Newbie? [img]redface.gif[/img] What difference does it make? Again, if we are talikng about collecting & wanting an older PM doll, I understand, but if AG has two Kit's in stock would you request a certain one over another? Why? Just trying to educate myself. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

Someone posted a while ago that AG was changing all of the necks to American Girl, instead of Pleasant Company. It may not make a difference to most people, but I really prefer a Pleasant Company neck because all of my other dolls are that way. I want the trend to follow [img]wink.gif[/img]

ETA: I plan on getting Kit at AGPLA May/Juneish next year. They might have changed it by then and that's okay. I just was asking this question to see if they already had started making the transitions.

My Kit says Pleasant Company and I believe she has strings.
mine is also PC.
Mr. UPS man brought me my new Kit just this week, and she says PC and has her strings. I'm so happy too, I was worried I'd get one with those nasty zip ties!
Mine is PC with strings. I got her during the code.
